I’m Alyssa, The creator of this little shop… The Budding Burrow! Here is a little bit about my journey… & how I got here!

I get asked a lot, where did you get your business name from… Well, It is actually the name of my Orchard here at our homestead! I came up with the name because I have always had an obsession with bunnies… hence all the little brass bunnies laying around! 🐰 So “Burrow” seemed like the perfect name, meaning a shelter… which my home is my safe place! Then “budding” was for the formation & growth of our little orchard we rescued years ago! Which stands for the beginning & showing signs of progress..

It was always a dream of mine to own an orchard, since I was a little girl… but I quickly realized how much work it was to maintain it all myself! The whole reason I wanted a homestead as well, was for my health. Right before we moved into this home… I was diagnosed with multiple autoimmune diseases & they found a tumor on my brain… which was causing infertility. So I was really needing an outlet or something to keep my mind off of everything. Which is why I decided to start my shop! I started it just 2 years ago!

I am beyond grateful support me!! It truly means so much & Thank you will never be enough…!! I know we all have challenges we face in life, we all have burdens… so I wanted to share this to show that your conditions do not define you. Don’t let those challenges or other people bring you down. You can do whatever you put your mind to & as long as you keep going… you will succeed! Don’t ever forget that. 🤍
