This book has a blue Victorian cloth binding… but it has been Rebacked, which means the spine was repaired/ replaced… They did a very good job making it blend in with the rest of the book. Normally I find these completely falling apart… because they were so well loved. So it’s nice that this will last for many years to come!

By the famous… Ernest Henri Griset, who was a French-born painter and illustrator noted for the humorous interpretations of his subjects. He specialized especially in animal illustrations many of which were made for children's books as well as magazines like Punch.
