Antique Pair of Lorgnette Glasses in a Silver Case! These are stunning… very Victorian style, they fold up and tuck into the case beautifully. There is a button or lever on the side… but it only holds the lenses in place, you still have to push the lenses out. The silver case does have some natural patina and it is engraved with someone’s initials on the front. I was not able to make out the letters to be honest… let me know what you think! There is also some little flaws… as these are very old… there is some small flea bites on one of the lenses & a small crack on the silver part that holds them onto the handle… I was told you can actually get these filled with your prescription lenses and this would fix this problem potentially! There is also a loop at the bottom of the handle, so you could attach a chain! Overall, these are more rare to find… and they are in good condition. They are about 4” tall and 1.5” wide. Perfect travel size!
