Huge Leather Holy Bible with Silver Latches (c. Mid 1800s)

Antique, The Holy Bible with a practical and explanatory commentary on the Old Testament by Rev. Robert Jamieson, D.D. Containing multiple illustrative engravings on steel… some of my favorites I have seen!
This is the largest of the Bible’s.. it is bound in full leather, with deep embossings and gold gilt detailing! It also contains two large silver latches that work well. This is in great condition for its age and size… especially for how huge it is! I was shocked.
It contains a chromolithograph at the very front of the book, stunning!! & it is also filled with gorgeous engravings… There were no inscriptions from what I could see, or family history written inside. So this would be a wonderful family heirloom piece for anyone!
Overall it is 14” tall, 11” wide and 4” thick at the spine.
